Guardian PvP build
« on: January 11, 2014, 03:58:51 pm »
I've been wanting to get into pvp but I just suck, so does anyone know of a pvp build that would be good for a guard?

Hammer, and second load out would be anything you suggest.

Bunker Duel Guardian Build

Alright this build uses    Greatsword, Hammer (Mace/Shield works too)

Runes - Armor  Superior Runes of divinity X6     GS  Superior Sigil of Force     Hammer  Superior Sigil of Leeching    (Mace  Superior Sigil of Leeaching  Shield  Superior Sigil of hydromancy)

Amulet - Soldiers Amulet with Beserker Jewel attached

20/0/10/20/20    Zeal (first 20)  trait  5(V)   7(VII)     Valor (first 10) trait  5(V)     Honor (second 20) trait  2(II)    9(IX)    Virtues (last 20)   2(II)    9(IX)

Skill set: Signet of Resolve (Heal), Hold the Line (Skill 7), Signet Of Judgement (Skill 8 ), Smite Condition (Skill 9), Elite optional but I heavily suggest Tome of Courage (Skill 10)

Play style:   For this build you want to use Greatsword mostly almost all of your damage is coming from GS you also get healed +100~ every hit you get with GS make sure you use symbol of wrath (GS skill 4) as much as you can before using skill 2-5 of GS use skill 2 as much as possible you do heavy damage with it    Hammer is best for ranged people it's completely optional to equip this very good for catching up to ranged foes   Mace/Shield is great for durability and interrupts   Don't use your virtues much if you start running low on health (like 3-4k) use Virtue of Resolve and maybe aegis otherwise no need to really touch them

Skills   when your health drops to about 10k-12k use  skill 7 (see above for what skill that is)  Don't use skill 8.  Try to use skill 9 whenever you've been hit with a condition it does very nice damage. Only use your heal when your health drops to about 7-8k. If you picked Tome Of Courage as your elite when your heal is on recharge and your health is about 6-8k pull out the book immediately stand still and use book skill 5 you have to stand still to use this and it takes 4-5 seconds but it brings your health back to 100% after you've used it use book skill 4 or drop the book and get back to fighting

Notable Stats
3200 Attack
19545 Health
2856 Armor (not including that -10% damage from signet)
27% Critical Damage

Lower important stats
260 Healing Power
10% Crit Chance :(   (Don't worry most of your damage is coming from pure attack getting a crit is just a bonus)
